Queen Of Hearts Ragdolls 281-754-3818
It is best to email me whenever possible. I have a full-time job outside of my home, so I cannot always
answer calls on my business phone, but I can usually check my email and I'll respond during the day when I can.
If you call and I don't answer the phone, please leave me a message and I'll return your call as soon
as I possibly can. Sometimes I am extremely busy with work, or other activities, and it may take a day or two to return
your calls. Please be patient and understand that breeding cats like I do is a full-time job (with no pay) and
I already have a full-time job (which supports my other full-time job that doesn't pay). On any given day, I clearly
push the envelope on 'time-managment'. I know that the confines are such that there is only 24 hours in a day to
do the work that needs to be done, so I do what I can, when I can, as best I can, as soon as I can and that's all
I can do..... I'll work with you as best I can, but ultimately, visits must
be scheduled during a time that is convenient for me, taking into account whatever family activities, or work schedule, I
have going at the time. During the appointment, each potential Buyer will be given at least an hour to interact
with the kittens and talk with me. For the most part, I do not have more than 2 people at one
time attending an appointment to meet the kittens. If there are 1 or 2 older, well-behaved children, then they can attend
as well. If anyone is sick with any kind of cold, or other illness, they will not be allowed in to see the cats, or
kittens. My strict policy is that kittens cannot receive visitors until they are at least 8 weeks old and have had at
least 1 FVRCP vaccination. In order for me to vaccinate them, they must stop actively nursing prior to getting the vaccination,
otherwise, they will not build their own immunity. Sometimes, for reasons only known to the mother cats, they'll continue
letting the kittens nurse past 8 weeks old, so at times, it may be longer than 8 weeks before a particular litter will be
available for visits. In many, many ways, I depend on the innate knowledge the mother cat has regarding the care
and socialization of her kittens, so if she continues nursing them, then I'm of the thought that she knows best and I'll
follow her lead. Suffice to say that the health and socialization of the cats and the kittens is the paramount concern,
so to that end, whatever needs to be done, and however it needs to get done, is how it will go, and that is determined solely
by the mother cat, and the individual kittens in each litter. Additionally, since I have cats and kittens at different
stages of pregnancy and/or development, during a visit, there will more than likely be areas where visitors will not
be allowed to go. Please bear in mind that if there were no 'down side' to it, then I'd be all for letting
you see everything that goes on with me breeding Ragdolls, so that you could see with your own eyes and feel sure
in your heart that I do right by my Ragdolls, however, for obvious health reasons, I cannot let pregnant females and/or
newborn kittens around anyone other than those who live there on a daily basis. So, with that in mind, and
with the number of pregnant cats and kittens I currently have, I think I can say for certain at this point in time, that there
will be areas where I will seclude pregnant cats and/or very young kittens, and that visitors will not be allowed to go into
those areas. And while some of my girls that are pregnant are out and about in the upstairs and/or downstairs
of the house until it gets to be very close to delivery time, those girls will be put behind closed doors before visitors
arrive so that they are not exposed to anything that could harm them, or their kittens. Please understand that these
areas where the cats and kittens are set away from visitors is all about what has to be done for the health and utimate
safety of the cats and the kittens and has nothing to do with trying to 'hide' anything from visitors.
