The deposit amount to hold a particular kitten is $150.00 and
can be paid through Pay-Pal via a credit card or your Pay-Pal account. Kittens can go to their new homes by 12-16 weeks,
depending on the maturity of the kitten and/or the location of their new home. Kitten prices start at $324.75 ($300.00 is
the price for the kitten and $24.75 is the Texas state sales tax I must charge) and include only the following: 1. Your kitten will have had 2 FVRCP vaccinations.
All boosters are the responsibility of the new owner. 2.
The kitten will be spayed or neutered by the new owner and the contract will reflect that this must be done prior to the kitten
turning 5 months old. If you do not do this prior to the kitten turning 5 months old, you will be subject to forfeiture
of the kitten, without a refund of the purchase price. You will receive your TICA papers only after proof of altering
and micro-chipping has been provided in the form of a Veterinarian's Confirmation of Altering & Micro-Chipping Certificate.
The Certificate must be filled out in its entirety and signed by the Veterinarian. It will verify the
following information for the cat: The name of the Buyer, the date of birth and the age (in months and days) at
the time of altering and/or micro-chipping, the parents of the cat, the sex, the breed, the markings of the cat, etc.
The kitten's information in the Certificate will be filled out by me at the time of the sale of the kitten and will be a part
of your kitten package. If the kitten, or cat, is leaving the State of Texas, or the United States of America,
it must be altered prior the final sale and at the expense of the new owner. All such fees are to be paid in full,
prior to the final sale of the kitten or cat. 3.
The kitten will be micro-chipped by the new owner, at their expense, within 72 hours of the time the kitten, or cat is purchased
(the 72 hour window). The contract will reflect that this must be done prior to the expiration of the 72 hour window.
If you do not do this within the 72 hour window, you will be subject to forfeiture of the kitten without a refund of the purchase
price. You will receive your TICA papers only after proof of altering and micro-chipping has been provided
to me, in the form of a Veterinarian's Confirmation of Altering & Micro-Chipping Certificate. The Certificate
must be filled out in its entirety and signed by the Veterinarian. It will verify the following information
for the cat: The name of the Buyer, the date of birth and the age (in months and days) at the time of altering and/or
micro-chipping, the parents of the cat, the sex, the breed, the markings of the cat, etc. The kitten's information
in the Certificate will be filled out by me at the time of the sale of the kitten and will be a part of your kitten package.
The new owner will be responsible for filling out the micro-chip registration form on-line and is required to list Queen Of
Hearts Ragdolls cattery as an alternate contact, in the event the cat is lost by the new owner. If the kitten,
or cat, is leaving the State of Texas, or the United States of America, it must be micro-chipped prior the final sale
and at the expense of the new owner. All such fees are to be paid in full, prior to the final sale of the kitten
or cat. 4. I worm the kittens
several times with Drontal (kills all feline worms) and I also treat them with Revolution (fleas, ear mites, roundworms &
hookworms) prior to them going to their new homes. 5.
The new owner is responsible for getting a rabies vaccination for the kitten or cat. If the kitten or cat is leaving
the State of Texas or the United States of America, it must be vaccinated against rabies prior the final sale and at
the expense of the new owner. All such fees are to be paid prior to the final sale of the kitten or cat. 6. Your kitten, or cat, will come with a 'package'
that includes all their pedigree information, DNA reports and records for vaccinations and wormings given at my
cattery. The new owner will not receive the TICA papers until all the appropriate proof of spaying or neutering,
micro-chipping, etc., are provided to the Seller. If
you purchase a kitten or a cat from me at a reduced price, or some other kind of acquisition besides a regular purchase
price of the kitten or cat, then there may be special terms, or conditions, that apply to your particular acquisition
that are different than those mentioned above. Also, there may be some older kittens that have been altered, micro-chipped
and gotten a rabies vaccination while they are in my possession. If that is the case, the cat's price will be raised
to include the cost of those procedures. I do not ship kittens, or cats,
to clients who are buying the kitten, or the cat, as a pet. I have no problem selling a kitten, or a cat, to someone
who lives in another state, or another country, however, the Buyer must still come to pick up the cat in Houston, Texas.
Also, in a case where the kitten, or cat, will be taken out of the county, the Buyer is responsible for all travel compliance
issues and regulations regarding the kitten, or cat, leaving the United States and entering into another country. Additionally,
if the cat is to leave the State of Texas, or leave the United States of America, the Buyer must pay in advance for the spaying
or neutering, micro-chipping, all additional vaccinations which may be needed, health certificates and/or any other costs
associated with the out of State, or out of the County, transport of the kitten, or cat. My policy regarding this 'personal
meeting' prior to finalizing the sale of the kitten, or cat, is based upon my sincere belief that you need to spend a bit of time with your kitten, or cat, and see for yourself
that the cat is healthy, happy, active, socialized well, etc. Sometimes people come to see the kittens when they're
young and then come back to get them when they've grown up a bit. However, sometimes people, who live out of town, put
a deposit on a kitten and first meet the kitten when they come to do the final purchase and take the kitten home with them.
It is really best if you can hold the cat you want to buy, see how it reacts to you, and ask as many questions as you
need to while you're at my cattery. And if you haven't had the chance to do that before the final sale date, then
I believe you need to do that at least 1 time before the sale of the kitten is finalized. These cats are a long-term
commitment for their new owners (kind of like a marriage, because you will be living with them 24/7/365... for years to come),
so I think meeting them, face to face, before you say "I do", is the best way to start the rest of your
lives together....
